Les Cool Kids

This Collection is quite personal to me as my co-creator is my son Noah (10 years old). We talked through what pre-teens are drawn to visually and what wording they like and use. It’s been really nice to have that time together to be creative.

We hope that the 3 Escargot Mail Postcards will inspire kids to send more snail mail to their friends, we paid extra attention to the design of the back of the postcards, it was really important to Noah to have guidelines to write on as kids might find it hard to write straight without lines. The different sections: date, dear, from and address make it clear what to write/where and the crown picture shows where the stamp goes. There is just enough space for a few sentences, the idea is not for kids to feel overwhelmed by how much they have to write but learn to enjoy the process of sending post and receiving it in return.

B.M is a Bookmark with a cheeky personality and we thought it would be fun to have him ‘talk’ and encourage young people to read - with 3 different messages on each bookmark we hope they will appeal to new readers as well as established ones.
